Escape 

Piece is of bland characters climbing up a  red brick wall escaping from a yellow octopus all three characters are white toned with black oval eyes the top character sits unaware of the danger below, the second character climbs upward away and the lowest one is trapped with the monster. On the brick walls are graffiti a pink with black shadow word "hope". Then a blue with a darker blue tone around the word "live"

I started with a gray tone then started with the red bricks I had to redo the bricks many times. but decide to add old white paint on the bottom side. I kept on with my idea and added the yellow octopus in the bottom. The characters came last fulling them in with a simple white tone. 

There was an important part which was missing from the  characters fighting off the monster while some of them but didn't have enough time to do so. my meaning with the piece was to show the choice to fight or run away from your problems. 

I don't like find this canvas piece a success, there was much I find I did wrong the shading , the background of the bricks and the graffiti. The GRAIFFITI

I have been practicing graffiti since middle school . I see the mistake I made in this, I will be redoing this piece later on my spare time on another canvas to  change , improve  it.
